1st Annual Family Sail Away Day at Sea Star Base Galveston
GHFEDS has been invited to have a annual Family Day at Sea Star Base Galveston.
October 10th from 12-4pm

Let's end the summer with a family day filled with fun in the sun activities!
This event is for the immediate family only, kids with Ds, their parents and youth siblings.
Includes sailing, kayaking, fishing, volleyball, swimming in the pool, and food.
Serving hot dogs, frito pies, chips, snacks and drinks, and you are welcome to bring your own food.
Free fishing licenses will be available for those 17 and older, individuals with Ds will not need a license but the parent will need a license.
The SSBG is located on the bay so you will need to watch your children around the water, GHFEDS/SSBG is not responsible to watch your children.
SSBG will be giving shirts to the families, please include your shirt sizes during the registration process. For those registering as of 8-26-21 are not guaranteed a shirt.
If you No Show or Cancel within 24 hrs of the event you will be charged $5 per family to cover costs.
You must have a current Annual Membership to register for this event.
