Our speaker, Kristi Ferguson, M.Ed, CED is currently employed by Center for Hearing and Speech.  Kristi Ferguson has been working with children who are hearing impaired since 2001 in both public and private settings. Her background includes teaching in both oral and total communication classrooms ranging in grades from preschool to high school. 

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Deaf Education from The University of Southern Mississippi, as well as a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education for students with disabilities from University of Houston-Clear Lake. She was a teacher in the Melinda Web School for seven years and has now assumed the role of Educational Liaison for the SoundWaves program.
